What were some technological advances, and how did they affect the war?
Some technological advances are radios, like radios nowadays in the war, they call down to there a airplane stations for like support and missiles and bombs for the air and what not. They also could use radios to talk to other people in the ranks, that would be fighting other places, and call them in for back up.

There were a lot of missionaries and explorers that traveled to Africa, changing the Africans religion and other things.The Africans didn't like these changes and weren't very happy about it, yet they couldn't do a whole lot about it.
